Our Story
Top Of The Notch sits at the end of the road — and the beginning of something quieter. We opened our doors for hikers coming up the mountain, for locals who wanted a place that felt like home, and for anyone who believes the best conversations happen at altitude.
Our kitchen sources from regional farms when we can, roasts our coffee in small batches, and pours every drink like it matters — because up here, everything does.
The Experience
Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the San Gabriel Mountains in every direction. Sunrise, sunset, or snow season — it changes the mood of every visit.
Every pour, pour-over, and pour-back is done with intention. We source from roasters and farms we know by name.
Warm wood, soft light, and the kind of quiet that only comes at altitude. It's equal parts lodge and living room.
